Your In-Store Shopping Experience at higherplace
We know that walking into a dispensary for the first time can feel overwhelming. At higherplace, we designed every step of the in-store shopping experience to make you feel comfortable, informed, and supported. As a family owned and community oriented cannabis shop serving the Chaska, MN and surrounding areas, we genuinely want you to ask questions. Whether you are new to cannabis, rediscovering it after years away, or you consider yourself a connoisseur, our friendly team is ready to help you find the right products. We are the Southwest suburbs premier cannabis shop carrying the best Minnesota cannabis brands, and we take pride in offering a superior customer experience from the moment you arrive.
Checking In and Entering the Store
When you arrive at higherplace, the first step is checking in at the front door in our Lobby. A valid state ID is required before you can enter the retail area. This ensures a safe and compliant environment for everyone. Once you have been checked in, you will be buzzed through a secure door into our retail space where cannabis products are displayed and our knowledgeable budtenders are waiting to assist you.
To maintain a personalized and attentive experience, we allow two guests per budtender in the retail room at one time. If additional guests are waiting, they will be seated comfortably in our Lobby until space opens up. This approach means you get dedicated, one-on-one attention rather than feeling rushed or ignored. Your ID will be checked a second time at the point of sale when you check out with your budtender, so please keep it accessible throughout your visit.
Shopping with a Budtender
Once inside the retail area, a budtender will walk you through our product selection, answer your questions, and help you make informed decisions. At higherplace we focus on quality products and superior customer experience, so our staff receives extensive training on every item we carry. They can explain cannabinoid profiles, consumption methods, and help match products to your preferences and experience level. We care about our community and we care about our products, and that shows in every interaction.
After you have made your selections, your budtender places the order at the point of sale. The order is then sent to our fulfillment room, where the fulfillment manager prints the order ticket, places each item in a bin alongside the ticket, and delivers everything to the POS area. Your budtender will finalize the transaction, confirm your ID one more time, and complete checkout.
Ordering Online for In-Store Pickup
If you prefer to browse from home or your vehicle, our online ordering system makes it easy. You can place an order up to one minute before we close. Some customers even sit in the parking lot, place their order on their phone, and walk in the door to pick it up right away. Here is how the online ordering process works:
- Add items to your cart by browsing our menu and selecting the products you want
- Go to your cart and choose your checkout method by signing in for Member Benefits or checking out as a Guest
- Select your pickup time choosing either ASAP or a scheduled window along with viewing the pickup location and a link with directions
- Enter your personal information including first name and last name (both must match your state ID) along with your state, phone number, date of birth, and email address
- Place your order and a confirmation screen will appear saying “Your Order is In” with an option to keep shopping
Your cart will show your total with tax before you submit. If you choose to sign in, you can use your phone number and password, sign up for a new account, or sign in with a magic code that sends an email if the address entered is already on file. After placing your order, you will receive an email confirming it has been placed. A second email arrives when your order is ready for pickup.
Picking Up Your Order and Payment
When you arrive to pick up your online order, check in at the front door with your valid ID. You will be buzzed through to the retail area and called by a budtender when fulfillment brings your order out. Your ID is confirmed once more, and you complete payment at the register. Acceptable forms of payment include:
- Cash in any denomination
- Debit cards with PIN entry required
We also have an ATM located in the Lobby for your convenience. Credit cards are not accepted at this time.
Return Policy
We do not accept returns due to change of mind or buyer’s remorse. The only exception is vape cartridges that do not work. If you experience an issue, our team will troubleshoot with you on-site and coach you through techniques to get the cartridge functioning. If the vape is confirmed broken or unable to function, we will replace it with a new one. Residents of Chaska, Chanhassen, Eden Prairie, Shakopee, Victoria, Carver, Cologne, Waconia, Jordan, and Shorewood, MN and surrounding communities can count on higherplace for transparent policies and honest service every time they visit.
