At higherplace, we understand that walking into a dispensary can feel overwhelming, especially if you are new to cannabis or rediscovering it after years away. That is exactly why we built our services around making every customer feel comfortable from the moment they arrive. As the Southwest suburbs premier cannabis shop carrying the best Minnesota cannabis brands, we are family owned and community oriented, and everything we do reflects that. We offer three convenient ways to shop with us: In-store Shopping, In-store Pickup, and Online Ordering. No matter which option you choose, our friendly team is ready to help you find the right products, whether you are a first-time visitor or a seasoned connoisseur.
We genuinely want customers to ask questions. Our budtenders are passionate about cannabis and dedicated to providing a superior customer experience. We care about our community, we care about our products, and we want every person who walks through our doors to leave feeling confident about their purchase. Serving customers throughout Chaska, Chanhassen, Eden Prairie, Shakopee, Victoria, Carver, Cologne, Waconia, Jordan, and Shorewood, MN and the greater Chaska, MN and surrounding areas, we have designed every step of the process to be straightforward, welcoming, and secure.
The Online Ordering Process
Placing an order online is simple and fast. Browse our menu, add items to your cart, and proceed to checkout when you are ready. At checkout, you have the option to sign in for Member Benefits or check out as a Guest. To sign in, use your phone number and password, or sign up for a new account. You can also use a magic code, which sends an email to the address on file for quick verification. Once you are signed in or continuing as a guest, your cart will display the order total including tax.
Next, you will select a pickup time or choose the ASAP option. The screen displays your pickup location along with a link for directions. You will then enter your first name, last name (both must match your state ID), your state, phone number, date of birth, and email address. Once submitted, a confirmation screen pops up that says “Your Order is In” with an option to keep shopping. You will receive an email confirming that your order has been placed, and a second email notification when your order is ready for pickup. Online orders can be placed up until one minute before close. Some customers even sit in their vehicle, place an order, and walk right in to pick it up immediately.
Checking In and the In-Store Experience
When you arrive at higherplace, a valid ID is required to check in at the front door in our Lobby before you enter the store. Once a guest is checked in, they are allowed to enter the retail area where cannabis products are displayed and budtenders are waiting to assist. To maintain a personalized and attentive experience, we allow two guests per budtender in the retail room at one time. Additional guests wait comfortably in the Lobby until space opens up.
Your ID is checked when you enter the store and again in the retail room at the point of sale when you check out with a budtender. This double verification ensures security and compliance while keeping the process smooth. For online order pickups, you check in at the front door, get buzzed through to the retail area, and a budtender will call you when fulfillment brings your order out. You will provide your ID for confirmation and complete payment just like an in-store purchase.
Fulfillment and Payment
Once an order is placed at a kiosk or with a budtender at the point of sale, it is sent to our fulfillment room. The fulfillment manager prints the order ticket, places the requested items in a bin alongside the ticket, and delivers everything to the POS area where the budtender completes the transaction with the customer. This process ensures accuracy and efficiency on every order.
Acceptable forms of payment are cash and debit cards with PIN entry. We also have an ATM available in the Lobby for your convenience. Credit cards are not accepted at this time due to federal banking regulations affecting the cannabis industry.
Our Return Policy
At higherplace, we do not accept returns due to change of mind or buyer’s remorse. We stand behind our products and want every customer to have a great experience, which is why our budtenders take the time to help you make informed decisions before you buy. The one exception involves vape cartridges that do not function properly. Our process for handling defective vapes includes the following steps:
- Bring the cartridge back to the store and let a budtender know about the issue
- Our team will troubleshoot with you onsite and coach you on techniques to get the vape working
- If the cartridge is confirmed broken or unable to function after troubleshooting, we will return the item and replace it with a new one
